Dylan Elmore
Dylan is a London based Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Master Trainer, movement teacher and dance artist. He has had an extensive career in movement and dance, performing internationally both in dance companies and as a freelance artist. Over the years he has been involved at all levels: as a dancer, helping devise work collaboratively, assisting choreographers, and as a choreographer himself. Even before dancing, he moved: as a gymnast, martial artist, diver. He is passionately curious about the body in motion, and brings this enquiry, his evolving personal practice, and a desire to delve deeper into his teaching. As well as the Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis methods, his regular movement practices include Contact Improvisation (which he teaches), sport climbing and yoga.

I can offer you a comprehensive movement session, with a focus on spinal motion to unravel the body's tensions, easing discomfort. We will work together to establish healthy movement pathways, settling the system and allowing greater freedom of movement. With increased awareness, and deepening connection and integration, we can begin to move more efficiently, and with increased power. This is the case whether our goal is simply to move with more confidence, or to see just where the body can take us. Whatever your goal, your session will be tailored to your needs, and we will work together to ensure your success.

Dylan is licenced to teach both level 1 and level 2 Gyrotonic, and in the use of all it's specialised equipment: Jumping Stretching Board, GYROTONER®, Leg Extension Unit & ARCHWAY(TM)
He is also trained in it's therapeutic applications with relation to osteopathy, the psoas, the shoulder girdle, scoliosis, the pelvic girdle, and pre and post hip replacement.TM
