

The guiding philosophy behind Pilates is that every part of the body is exercised in order to attain great health. Using unique movements on specially designed equipment muscle groups are balanced, gradually conditioning the body and making it stronger and less prone to injury. Strength, tone and flexibility are achieved through 'resistance' exercises, whilst mind and body are tuned together with breathing exercises. Pilates is for young or old, novices or experts and our instructors design specific programmes for each individual to precisely meet goals and needs.
